Lafayette, Colo. – October 5, 2020 – KPA and the California New Car Dealers Association (CNCDA) announced a partnership to support the Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) efforts of the nearly 1,200 franchised car dealers throughout the state. As an EHS licensed vendor of the CNCDA, KPA’s EHS software, compliance training, and safety consulting services will help dealers maintain a compliant and productive workplace.
“Workplace safety has never been more important as dealers navigate the challenges of the coronavirus pandemic and wildfires continue to burn throughout the state,” said Brian Maas, President, CNCDA. “The partnership with KPA is exciting as we work to support our dealers’ programs with the EHS software, training, and consulting necessary to navigate ongoing regulatory changes that will keep employees and customers safe.”
KPA is the provider of comprehensive EHS compliance solutions to hundreds of dealerships across California. Through the KPA software platform, Vera EHS, dealers’ safety programs will be able to handle incident management, audits and inspections, corrective and preventative actions, and have access to OSHA logs, safety data sheets (SDS) management, award-winning online compliance training, a regulatory library, and reporting and analytics to manage compliance across the organization. Through the mobile EHS application, dealer employees will have the ability to manage an accident or acquire a safety data sheet, no matter where they’re located in the dealership or if they’re offline.
“KPA is committed to helping dealers maintain safe and compliant workplaces and this exciting partnership is part of that effort,” said Chris Fanning, President and CEO of KPA. “With the combination of Vera EHS software, award-winning online training, and the expertise of our certified, network of EHS safety consultants working for them, dealers can focus their energy on their business.”
With more than 30 years of experience and expertise in EHS, KPA’s on-site or virtual health and safety consulting services help dealers execute a safety program that reduces injury and illness rates, decreases workers’ compensation costs, increases productivity, and improves morale. Additionally, the COVID-19 Safety Program provides dealers with a comprehensive program to navigate California and federal regulations, and ensure ongoing compliance with OSHA regulations.
